    Bert Hardy Maidens in Waiting Signed 1954 ScanMaidens in Waiting by Bert Hardy

    This great photograph taken by Bert Hardy about 1954 of Tiller Girls on Blackpool beach recently sold for £2000 at auction. Evidently Hardy was looking for subjects to photograph, he went to the Pavilion Theatre and asked four Tiller Girls from the show if they would pose. He took a number of photos on the beach of all four girls as well as this one.
