Horace Ward is a professional Photographer from London.
Circa 1960 Horace was commissioned to take photos backstage at the London Palladium for the London Evening Standard. During this time he became friendly with many of the Tiller Girls and took some wonderful photos.
Horace contacted me after visiting The Tiller Girl’s website saying he had a few pictures of the girls, in fact one lived yards from him. He offered to let me have some copies of his photos for this web site.
As the photographs are so good and show the girls during their every day life, rehearsal and on stage, I thought it important to give him his own page.
Should anyone be able to name any of the girls it would be very welcome.

Horace sent this photo saying he found it in a box of negatives :
A young Bruce Forsyth in front.
Taken at the Sunday Night at the London Palladium,c.1960.
Horace feels sure the guy on the right is, DON ARROL who took over from Bruce. The female looks very much like actress/ singer, SALLY ANN HOWES, the daughter of BOBBY HOWES.
