Reported in The Performer, 26th September 1957
On Saturday September 28th 1957, The Tiller Schools of Dance will notch up a notable “first.”
For the first time in the long history of The Tiller Troupes, a Tiller Troupe of twelve girls will fly over to Dusseldorf for a single appearance on German TV.
The transmission will be made on Sunday from Dusseldorf and the following day the girls will fly home. All of which again stresses the importance that TV now boasts in the scheme of international entertainment. The engagement was arranged through the Johnnie Riscoe Variety Agency Ltd.
